‘Lights Out’ pumps out a crazy volume of 3 1/2" black flowers that are excellent for design work. While blooming slightly later than some of our other burgundy-black varieties like ‘Rip City’ and ‘Karma Choc’, this always ends up being our true burgundy-black workhorse. The size of its richly colored flowers makes it incredibly versatile as a burgundy accent.

As a compact plant, ‘Lights Out’ requires being cut deeply in order to encourage long stems. Invest the time in cutting deeply and you will be handsomely rewarded!

SHIPPING INFORMATION: All dahlia tubers ship in the spring once danger of frost has passed as there needs to be a sufficient shipping window to ensure tubers do not freeze in transit. Most years, this happens in the first half of April. The exact date depends on each year’s weather. You will be notified by email when your tubers ship.
